CBSE CGPA to Percentage Calculator

The official CBSE formula is: Percentage = CGPA × 9.5. So a CGPA of 9.2 equals 87.4%. This formula was used for CBSE Class 10 results from 2010 onwards.

The formula provides an approximate percentage. Actual marks may vary slightly. CBSE confirmed that the formula gives a 'near-accurate' percentage for most students, though individual subject percentages may differ.

CGPA 9.0-10.0 is considered excellent (85.5-95%), 8.0-8.9 is very good (76-84.5%), 7.0-7.9 is good (66.5-75%), and 6.0-6.9 is above average (57-65.5%).
