The short version
We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. What we do use is analytics — to see which calculators are popular and where pages break — plus a little browser storage to remember your theme and your recently used calculators.
This page lists every cookie and storage key the site sets, what each one does, and how to switch them off. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary
OmniCalculator sets no strictly necessary cookies. There are no accounts, no logins, no shopping cart, and no server-side session — so there is nothing the site needs to remember in order to function.
Preference storage
These live in your browser's local storage, not in cookies. They never leave your device and we never receive them.

The “Recently used” section on the homepage has a clear button that deletes omni-recent immediately.
Analytics cookies
These help us understand which calculators get used and where the site is confusing or broken. They are set by third parties, and the exact names and lifetimes are controlled by those providers and may change.
Google Analytics

Clarity records anonymised session replays and heatmaps. Text entered into form fields is masked by its default settings, so the values you type into calculators are not captured.
Vercel Speed Insights
Our host measures real-world page-load performance. It is designed to be cookieless and does not set identifying cookies.
Advertising cookies
We currently serve no advertising and set no advertising or retargeting cookies. If that changes, we will list the cookies here and update the “Last updated” date before any ad script goes live.
How to control cookies
Blocking every cookie on this site will not break any calculator — they all run locally. Your options:
- •Browser settings. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all let you block or delete cookies for a specific site, and clear local storage along with them. Look under Privacy or Site Settings.
- •Tracking protection. Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention, Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection, and Brave's shields block most analytics automatically.
- •Google Analytics opt-out. Install the official browser opt-out add-on to disable Google Analytics everywhere.
- •Private browsing. An incognito or private window discards all cookies and storage when you close it.
- •Ad and tracker blockers. Extensions such as uBlock Origin block these scripts before they load. We don't block or nag anyone for using one.
Consent
Analytics cookies are only lawful in some regions with your consent. If you are visiting from the EU, UK, or another region with a consent requirement, you should be asked before non-essential cookies are set, and you should be able to withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.
This site does not currently show a consent banner. If you have visitors in the EU or UK, add a consent management platform and gate the Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity scripts behind it before you publish, then update this section to describe how consent is collected and withdrawn.
Changes to this policy
Cookie names and lifetimes are set by our providers and can change without notice to us. We review this page when we add or remove a service, and update the “Last updated” date at the top when we do.
