Agreeing to these terms
These Terms & Conditions are the agreement between you and OmniCalculator (“we”, “us”) covering your use of omnicalculator.app and everything on it. By using the site you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
You must be able to form a binding contract in your country to use OmniCalculator. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.
What we provide
OmniCalculator is a free collection of online calculators for finance, health, education, and everyday maths. There is no account, no sign-up, and no payment. Every calculation runs in your browser.
We provide the site “as is”. We may add, change, or remove calculators, change how a formula is presented, or take the site offline at any time without notice. We don't promise the site will always be available or uninterrupted.
The results are informational only
Every calculator, article, and FAQ on this site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing here is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or other professional advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of the site.
Results depend entirely on the numbers you enter and on simplified models that cannot account for your full circumstances — your tax jurisdiction, lender fees, medical history, or institution's grading rules, for example. Always confirm anything important with a qualified professional and with the authoritative source (your lender, your doctor, your tax authority, your university).
Our full Disclaimer is part of these terms and explains this in more detail.
Acceptable use
You may use OmniCalculator freely for personal or commercial purposes. You may not:
- •Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site in a way that places unreasonable load on it, or use automated tools to do so at scale.
- •Copy substantial portions of our written content — articles, FAQs, explanations — and republish them as your own.
- •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any connected system.
- •Introduce malware, attempt to disrupt the service, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
- •Remove or obscure attribution, or present the site as your own product.
- •Use the site in any way that breaks the law in your jurisdiction.
We may block access if we believe you are doing any of the above.
Intellectual property
The site's design, source code, written articles, calculator implementations, logo, and name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
Mathematical formulas themselves are not owned by anyone — you are welcome to use a compound-interest formula you learned here. What you may not do is copy our explanations, page layouts, or code wholesale. You may link to any page on the site freely, and quoting a short passage with credit and a link is fine.
Third-party links and services
The site links to external websites and uses third-party services for hosting and analytics. We don't control those sites or services and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.
No warranties
OmniCalculator is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the calculators are free of errors, that results are accurate or current, that the site will be available when you need it, or that it is free of harmful components. We test our formulas carefully, but software has bugs and formulas have edge cases.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site or its results.
This includes decisions you make based on a calculation: a loan you took out, an investment you made, a diet you followed, or a deadline you calculated. You are responsible for verifying results before acting on them.
Because the site is free, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the site is limited to USD $50 or the amount you paid us (which is zero), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a limitation is not permitted, it applies to the maximum extent the law allows.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these terms. In short: the numbers you enter never leave your device.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site evolves. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so it's worth checking back occasionally.
General terms
- •Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- •No waiver. If we don't enforce a term immediately, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
- •Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between us.
- •Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumers keep the protections of their local law.
Before publishing, replace the governing-law clause above with your actual country or state, and have a lawyer confirm the liability cap is enforceable where you operate.
