Minutes Calculator

The calculator converts both times to minutes since midnight, then subtracts. If the end time is before the start time, it assumes the end time is the next day.

Divide the total minutes by 60. The whole number is hours, and the remainder is minutes. For example, 150 minutes = 2 hours and 30 minutes.

A standard 8-hour work day is 480 minutes. With a 30-minute lunch break, active work time is 450 minutes. With a 1-hour lunch, it's 420 minutes.
