Percentage to Decimal Calculator

Divide the percentage by 100, or simply move the decimal point two places to the left. For example, 37.5% = 0.375, 125% = 1.25, 5% = 0.05.

The word 'percent' literally means 'per hundred.' So 37.5% means 37.5 per 100, which is 37.5/100 = 0.375 as a decimal.
