Grade Percentage Calculator

Divide the points you earned by the total points possible, then multiply by 100. For example, 42 out of 50 → (42/50) × 100 = 84%. Use “X is what % of Y” mode with your earned score as X and total points as Y.

It varies by school and course, but many programs use 60% or 70% as a minimum passing threshold. Always check your syllabus or institution’s grading scale for letter grades and cutoffs.
