Fraction to Percentage Calculator

Divide the numerator by the denominator, then multiply by 100. For example, 3/8 = 0.375 × 100 = 37.5%.

1/3 = 33.33...% (repeating). It's one of those fractions that doesn't convert to a clean percentage. Common ones: 1/4 = 25%, 1/5 = 20%, 1/8 = 12.5%.

Put the percentage over 100, then simplify. For example, 75% = 75/100 = 3/4. For decimals like 37.5%, write as 375/1000 and simplify to 3/8.
