Law School GPA Calculator (LSAC-Style)

LSAC converts grades to a standard scale and computes a cumulative GPA from all undergraduate work reported on transcripts, with rules for withdrawals, incompletes, and repeated courses. The exact summary appears on your Credential Assembly Service (CAS) report after LSAC processes your schools.

LSAC may recalculate: for example, treating A+ differently, including grades your college excluded from its own GPA, or applying uniform policies across institutions. Your CAS GPA is what most law schools review.

The CAS cumulative GPA is primary. Some applicants also report major GPA or trends in addenda, but admissions typically emphasize the LSAC GPA alongside LSAT or GRE scores and holistic factors.
