GPA to Percentage Converter

A common conversion: multiply GPA by 25 to get an approximate percentage on a 4.0 scale. So a 3.5 GPA ≈ 87.5%. However, this is approximate — some institutions use different formulas.

Using the common conversion, 3.0 GPA ≈ 75-82% depending on the formula. WES (World Education Services) generally maps 3.0 to about 78-82%.

International job applications, graduate school applications in different countries, and credential evaluations often require percentage equivalents of GPA. Some scholarship applications also ask for percentage scores.
